We are looking for employees who share our values.Magnum Power Products, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Description:Position Summary: Magnum Power Products, a subsidiary of Generac Power Systems, has a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager for a territory in the Eastern U.S. region. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all sales related activities in their assigned region. They will establish effective business relationships to increase sales revenues and customer accounts, build market share, sell the full Magnum product line and ensure total customer satisfaction. Base salary plus commission and comprehensive benefit package including company vehicle are provided. Responsibilities include:Conduct research on regional market and business activity. Identify potential new customers, channels and partnering opportunities. Develop plans and set goals to ensure continued sales and account growth and take action necessary to capture opportunities.Establish, confirm, update and communicate all sales opportunities and forecasts. Secure sales orders across the full Magnum product line to meet goals. Coordinate sales efforts with other departments involved in providing sales and service to the customer including; Finance, Marketing, Customer Support, Technical Support, Operations, Engineering and other pertinent departments. Manage all aspects of the customer relationship including; account set up, providing options and solutions that match customer requirements, ensure satisfaction with delivered product through the entire product life cycle. Resolve product and service problems by researching the situation and communicating the facts from the customer to technical service to most efficiently resolve any service issue. Research competitive products and make recommendations for product alterations and new product development based on understanding of current industry trends, market activities and competitors. Elicit feedback from customers on existing products and service, as well as improvements, options and new adjacent product opportunities. Maintain technical knowledge of product line through hands on involvement with research & development, engineering, manufacturing and technical service.Manage discount levels, freight and terms. Strive to improve company margins. Schedule and present programs for product and application training.Educate customers on products, service, warranties, and technical support.Create and build strong relationships with key customer influencers at all levels of their organization by providing sales, marketing and technical support. Communicating frequently through all channels and providing guidance that will help our customers be successful with Magnum’s products and services.Drive a high quality customer experience by practicing and enforcing established standards for quality, communication and customer service.Perform other duties as assigned that support the objectives of Magnum Products. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated ability to make independent, discretionary decisions and to work within a loosely structured environment. Must be self motivated and proficient at strategic and tactical planning.Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales.Requires exceptional organizational, verbal and written communication, time & territory management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships. Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver presentations, training and business solutions.Demonstrated knowledge and skill of proper techniques for prospecting, telemarketing, wholesale, rental and retail closing techniques, and quotation & specification writing.Requires well-developed problem solving and negotiation skills across the pricing spectrum. Must have an understanding of financing alternatives and solutions.Ability to work and communicate effectively and positively in a team environment. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study is preferred Minimum of three years of demonstrated achievement in field/territory sales, or sales management is required. Experience selling industrial, mechanical or technical products and a technical/mechanical aptitude is desirable. Demonstrated efficiency with Microsoft Office products. Proof of valid driver’s license and insurability. Ability to travel and work nonstandard hours.
