Essential Job Responsibilities Primary role and responsibility is to driving Partner Growth, Profitability, and earning Loyalty every day; To be performed with high energy around Orchestrating Relationships, Strategic Partner Planning, and Influencing a One Partner Team approach: cross functional Teamwork Create and execute Partner Strategic Business Planning. Work with Cisco’s cross-functional / extended teams in executing on both partner and regional planning. Influencing partners in the delivery of services and solutions, including understanding to Cloud / partner annuity / managed services capabilities and offers available in market Joint Account Planning between Segment aligned partners – PAM will have ownership of Partner execution of Channel element of Account Plan. Has the ability to diagnose Partner weaknesses and strengths to put in place a curriculum that will improve Partner readiness to sell and deploy Cisco Products and solutions, and annuity / cloud service offers. Collaborate with our SE organization to create development/training plans for our partners around certifications and specializations where applicable including Gap analysis to Cisco architectures Must have a strong understanding of financial business planning specifically understanding financial statements, P&L, cash flow and income statements. Establish and maintain a high degree of knowledge on competitive threats, market leaders, current technology innovations and trends; i.e SDN, Cisco One, Mobility, Cloud, etc… Responsible for the multi-segment sales engagement process and go to market model Serve as regional partners’ & National Partners in market key point of contact for relationship management issues - through a Named Partner Coverage model Have the ability to support development of partner Architecture Practices and strategies Cross-functional communication/collaboration with various groups, including FSO ,Channel SE, Global/National Channel Teams, SP Channel Team, CA, Field and Corporate Marketing Technical Knowledge, Skills & Expertise Excellent overall Cisco product knowledge and ability to sell business benefits of products ‘ General legal awareness and knowledge, including Sarbanes-Oxley High understanding of Cisco programs that influence and/or enhance partner growth and profitability; CMSP, CSPP, HCS, OIP, TIP, SIP, VIP, etc. Success Factors: Excellent Relationship selling skills Excellent Negotiation skills Excellent Strategic Thinking capacity Good financial acumen, including understanding of ROIC model and other financial modeling tools Excellent understanding and positioning cisco ROC Model Understanding of overall macro-economic picture and outlook Excellent influencing skills, both tactical and strategic at the executive (CXO) level Communicate Effectively Excellent Communication Skills, including: executive communication and presentation skills Teamwork Demonstrated ability to excel within cross-functional team environment Education & Experience Requires a minimum BA degree or equivalent and 5+ years partner account management experience in a fast-growth, high-technology environment Experience selling in technology and networking industry and knowledge of LAN and/or WAN networks is preferred, as well as experience in selling Voice, Wireless, Storage, Security and Optical networking products. Experience with partner community and competitive landscape is a plus.
