Are YOU that kind of person?Career Level ExperiencedCountry United StatesState/Province FloridaCity OrlandoCity OrlandoResponsibilities Responsible for developing and leading our effort in selling to Groups for the Blue Man Group show at Universal Orlando. The Group Sales Manager will work to sell tickets and events for this show to Student Groups, Convention and Corporate Groups, and unique events and buyouts. This position will be involved in both direct selling as well as developing the process to allow existing sales departments to sell, and creating content for groups. This person will be involved in training sales teams, developing collateral, and working with the box office and phone center on booking process. This position will also take the lead on several BMP and UOR tradeshows in which Universal will promote Blue Man Group. Must be willing to travel.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and manage the execution of sales plans. This includes: tactics, timelines, collateral support, and budgeting. * Partner with BMP and Sales channels to integrate show into their existing Resort sales plans. Includes making sure sales can be facilitated through channel, inclusion in brochures and collateral. Work with sales teams on execution of sales and fulfillment. * Develop and manage a group booking process and a system for reserving and receiving payment for these orders. Work with Box Office Manager on inventory issues. * Work with the Blue Man Productions and Blue Man Group staff on program development. This includes education programs, band workshops, event customization, buyouts and niche programs. * Program execution. Manage the process of facilitating programs that have been sold to groups. * Create and sell against non-traditional group opportunities. * Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. * Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university.EXPERIENCE:5-7 Years experience developing group sales strategy and working with ticket sales in a reserve seat venue. Candidate should also have experience working with internal partners on the sale of a product.
