Customer Service Rep: Standard clerical duties including filing, sorting, mathematical computations, posting date, keeping records; operating office machines; assists billing supervisor and operations supervisor with misc. tasks; communicates closely with customers; checks in drivers as they arrive; coordinates with dock personnel for door assignment for loading/unloading; entering orders & receipts into Warehouse Management System; prints pick tickets, check sheets, lot labels, putaway sheets, bills of lading, and receipt notices; answers phones; routes visitors; schedules appointments for inbound/outbound carriers; make sure supplies are in stock; Available to work days, nights and weekends depending on schedules; Warehouse is a 24/7 operation. Graduation from high school and two years of general clerical and customer service experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the desired knowledge, abilities and skills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in a warehousing environment using Warehouse Management systems SAP Experience Generating Bills of Lading Shipping / Receiving Clerk experience. Some knowledge of business communications Some knowledge of office practices, methods and procedures Ability to operate a variety of modern office equipment, including microcomputers and other electronic equipment; ability to type Ability to perform clerical work of standard difficulty Ability to write legibly, use proper grammar and punctuation and to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to work at routine assignments for extended periods as needed Ability to pay close attention to detail.
