I take teaching very seriously not only as a teacher but also as someone who studied with numerous private teachers, many of whom were like heroes to me. They weren't necessarily the more famous teachers either. When I was young, not only did I wash dishes, bus tables and dig ditches to pay for the lessons, I often drove for an hour each way into LA to study with them as well. I did this prior, during and following my years as a music major and G.I.T. As a result, I am very thankful for students who show me the same respect with their dedication. I really hate to see people squander their time and effort needlessly while paying top dollar for lessons that should prevent this waste.
I credit my clients for all of these years for why I have continued to adapt and improve my own knowledge and style in a way that I am sure I would not have done for myself. As a result, I also have them to thank for why I was ready to accept assignments to write out their sheet music in standard notation and tablature for all music publishers which, in turn has provided me with insights into each of these artists that no other teacher can provide.

YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE THAT THOUGH "GUITAR PRO" AND ONLINE TRANSCRIPTIONS ON ULTIMATE GUITAR OR ULTIMATE BASS WHICH HAVE AT BEST ABOUT 60% ACCURACY. THIS IS CONSIDERED FAILING IN ANY SCHOOL. TEACHERS USING THAT ARE NOT TEACHING, THEY'RE TAKING YOUR MONEY.
